Hi Gabriel Mathews, I use Rhino4.0 rel3 I am learning as I go with it. I want to model objects with different draft angles . I try to cap or build a top , then adding fillets does not work well. It wont let me go around the whole upper surface. Things remain very individualized. Any ideas would be greatly accepted. thank you Mark

Hi Mark! First off, thank you so much for visiting the site! Secondly, I highly recommend updating to the newest service release (v.9). The fillet tools have been greatly improved over the last six service releases. As far as modeling things with different draft angles, you can easily extrude closed planar curves by using the “ExtrudeCrvTapered” command. This can be found under Solid>Extrude Planar Curves> Tapered. If this doesn’t help, feel free to send me a screen cap of the issue you’re having and I’ll see if I can help out. pilot@polyplane.com — Have a great day!
