Cheating symmetry is often a necessary evil in creating a good model. It boils down to five simple steps:
- Determining where you want the line of symmetry to occur.
- Drawing a line down said line.
- Splitting the model in half to discard the bad geometry.
- Mirroring the “good” geometry over using the line you drew.
- Joining the parts back together.
With this, you can really cut some corners and achieve fantastic results.
